Work done to the engine below

Tested the Cummins ISX engine for causes of excessive fuming from
the breather.
Confirmed the excessive fuming was caused by worn piston rings.
The decision was made to rebuild the engine.
Disassembled the engine removing the cylinder head and all
pistons and cylinder liners.
Cleaned the engine block and checked all components for
re-usability.
Rebuilt the engine with an inframe engine rebuild kit.
Replaced the main crankshaft bearings. Fitted new pistons and
cylinder liners with new rings and crankshaft bearings.
Replaced the worn engine oil pump.
Fitted a reconditioned cylinder head to the engine as supplied
with new gaskets and seals.
Reassembled the engine and top tuned. Refilled with new oil and
coolant. Started and test ran.
Road tested the vehicle and rechecked the engine for faults, all
ok.
